About the club
Math Boost is a one-hour mathematics club designed to prepare learners for the Romanian National Evaluation at the end of Grade 8.
The preparation is aligned with the Romanian mathematics curriculum and the specific requirements of the National Evaluation. The club will be conducted in Romanian, giving learners regular exposure to the mathematical terminology, notation, and specific ways in which mathematical tasks are formulated in Romanian exams.
The aim is not only to strengthen mathematical knowledge and problem-solving skills, but also to familiarize learners with the structure and particularities of the Romanian curriculum and examination system.
Through targeted practice, both during club sessions and as homework, learners will consolidate the key concepts required for the exam, learn to interpret mathematical requests accurately, and become increasingly confident in approaching National Evaluation-style exercises.
