About the club
Step into Dexter's Laboratory and discover the fascinating world of science through experiments, creativity, and hands-on exploration! Led by Arina Ureche, our Learning Designer and Science Expert, this interdisciplinary STEAM club is designed for curious learners from the Upper Primary and Lower Middle crews.
What to expect
- Explore Through Experimentation
- Through engaging experiments, investigations, and mini-projects, learners will explore concepts from biology, chemistry, and physics, including atoms and molecules, chemical reactions, pH, forces and movement, living systems, DNA and more. Topics will unfold over several sessions, allowing children to investigate them in greater depth.
- Build, Design, Create
- Science and creativity go hand in hand. Learners will build models, create unique constructions, and integrate artistic elements into their projects, making complex scientific ideas more accessible, memorable, and fun.
- Think Like Scientists
- By asking questions, testing ideas, and working collaboratively, children will develop curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills while discovering that science is something to experience, create, and enjoy.
